The biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed by Omung Kumar has completed three weeks in the theatre. However, the Vivek Oberoi starrer has tanked on the box office and has disappointed fans who were eagerly waiting to watch the life story of PM Modi. The biopic saw a dull opening day and although it did better business than Arjun Kapoor starrer India’s Most Wanted, it was beaten bad by Will Smith’s Aladdin.

The collection earned a hike on the first weekend, all thanks to the 2019 Lok Sabha Election results where PM Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) saw a landslide win. However, after the first week the film has continuously been doing poor business and has received negative reviews.

According to the box office report: “PM Narendra Modi is a flop film with collections of 23 crore nett plus in three weeks. The film will finish with a total of under 24 crore nett as is running in a few cinemas only in its fourth week. The film has done a little better in Mumbai circuit as its ratio is 37% which is above the normal. The film is probably a classic example on how NOT to make a biopic as they have to be real to life and this one seemed to have made in a very filmy style.”
