War Box Office Collection Day 3: Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff’s film inches closer to 100 Crore mark

A film that was released on Gandhi Jayanti this year was touted to be one of the biggest action flicks of 2019. Yes, we are talking about Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War. The film was mounted on a massive scale and was shot in several countries. With 4 action directors meticulously working on the action sequences, Hrithik and Tiger’s fans were excited to see the face off between the two superstars. War opened to a massive and overwhelming response at the box office on the national holiday.

Coming to War’s first Friday box office collection, Hrithik and Tiger’s face off has fetched Rs 21 Crore on Day 3. With this, the total box office collection of War is Rs 95 Crore and is inching close to 100 Crore mark in just 4 days. The film earned Rs 22.50 Crore on Day 2 which was a 55 per cent drop from Day 1’s Rs 51.50 Crore. However, the film is bound to pick up over the weekend and is expected to cross Rs 100 Crore on the first weekend.

The film also stars Vaani Kapoor as Hrithik Roshan’s love interest. The two songs, Ghungroo and Jai Jai Shivshankar are trending chartbusters and fans love the camaraderie between Hrithik and Tiger in the music video. Yesterday, a team of War including Hrithik, Tiger and Vaani celebrated the overwhelming start of the film and came together for promotions.
