It has been a tough year for Sonam Kapoor especially on the professional front as the actress has been struggling to get a box office hit. Sonam had two releases this year – Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga with father Anil Kapoor and The Zoya Factor opposite Dulquer Salmaan – but both the movies failed to create a buzz at the ticket windows. However, if the recent reports are to be revealed Bollywood’s fashionista has got her hands on a big project. According to media reports, Sonam has been roped in for the Bollywood remake of the Korean movie Blind which featured Kim Ha-neul and Yoo Seung-ho in the lead.
As per a report published in Telly Chakkar, ace filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh has acquired the remake rights of the 2011 release movie which will have the Veere Di Wedding actress playing the central character. It will be jointly bankrolled by Sujoy and Viacom 18 and will be helmed by Shome Majhika. Although an official announcement about the project is yet to be made, the report suggested that this Bollywood remake is still in the scripting stage. In fact, the makers are yet to finalise the remaining cast of this crime thriller.
Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is busy enjoying her time with hubby Anand Ahuja and teases fans with beautiful pictures of their happy moments together.
