Box Office Report: Sonam's Neerja Passes the Monday Test!
After recording the second highest opening weekend of 2016, Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja has passed the crucial Monday test. The movie had a great hold on Monday with the collections dipping only by 22% from the Friday collections.
According to trade reports, the Ram Madhvani directed affair collected INR 3.50 crores on its first Monday, taking the four day total to INR 25.25 crores.
Given the kind of positive word of mouth the movie is enjoying, it seems the week 1 will close at around INR 33-34 crores.
The Production House numbers are also much different from the trade numbers that have come in. According to the Production house, Neerja has earned INR 3.70 crores with the grand total amounting to INR 25.71 crores.
Now this is indeed some good news for team Neerja!
