Sui Dhaaga opened to a fair start with Rs 8.25 crore approx on its first day (owing to the Asia Cup Finals). The film then witnessed a huge jump on day two of around 30%. Sui Dhaaga collected Rs 12.25 crore approx on day two (Saturday) and the Sunday business of the film is extraordinary. The film has earned double of Friday on its third day at the Box Office. Sui Dhaaga has earned Rs 16 crore on Sunday, which are very good numbers. The total first weekend business of Varun and Anushka starrer stands at around Rs 36.5 crore.
The word of mouth is quite positive and the growth is reflected in the Box office numbers. The numbers are not earth-shattering but going by the film's budget and its release to 2500 screens; Sui Dhaaga is going the right way.
