Salman Khan stars in and as Bharat along with Katrina Kaif as the female lead. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat also stars Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi, in pivotal roles. Bharat is based on the 2014 Korean film, Ode to My Father and will see Salman and Katrina in five different looks, from their youth to their old age. Salman has plans to overpower Eid yet again as Bharat hits the theatre screens of June 5, 2019.

Besides the lovely trailer of Bharat, which has gotten fans on the edge of their seats, it's the music that is essentially winning hearts. Whether it be Salman and Disha's electric dance number Slow Motion or the rocking theme song of Bharat titled Zinda, the entire Bharat soundtrack has made it to our playlists. Thanks to the incredible duo of Vishal-Shekhar, we are given a mixed bag of genres to satisfy all our musical taste buds. Check out what Pinkvilla thought of the Bharat soundtrack below:

Slow Motion is the song of the summer, indeed! Nakash Aziz and Shreya Ghoshal have knocked it out of the park with their vocal chemistry for this peppy dance number, whose chorus is going to be stuck in your mind for a very long time. Chashni is to Bharat what Dil Diyan Gallan was to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). This romantic single has two versions; one by Abhijeet Srivastava and another by Neha Bhasin. It's the lyrics to the romantic track by Irshad Kamil that makes this song a must-have on all our playlists.

Aithey Aa is a Punjabi number with a fun wedding-inspired twist and is sung by Akasa, Neeti Mohan and Kamaal Khan. Neeti and Nakash Aziz also sing the dance version of the song. It's another musical number that will grow on you gradually. Zinda was a song waiting to be heard ever since the trailer of Bharat came out and when you have Vishal Dadlani on the vocals, you can expect nothing but the best. The hard-hitting lyrics backed by Vishal's powerful vocals are a treat to one's ears.

Turpeya is the first of two Bharat songs sung by Sukhwinder Singh and is inspired by Punjabi folk. The song tends to grow on you as you keep listening to it. Aaya Na Tu not only works because of the Sufi influence by Jyoti Nooran but also because of the heartfelt lyrics. Thap Thap is the final song from Bharat and Sukhwinder's second track in the movie. It's the perfect song to get your energy boosted and ready to jet, set and go.
