While the world has been waiting for a long time for this day to come, Avengers: Endgame hit the screens today. Marvel Cinematic Universe’s film was among the highly anticipated release of this year and had already broken all records in terms of pre-sales. The conclusion of the Infinity Saga comes in the form of a 3-hour 2-minute film that is filled with emotions, action, humour and drama. Finally, the original 6 Avengers plus Captain Marvel team up against the mighty Thanos and avenge the fallen.
Talking about the box office numbers, Avengers: Endgame had already sold a record-breaking number of pre-sales tickets a week prior to the release. When it comes to the Avengers: Endgame box office occupancy of day 1, the Marvel movie has managed to reach a historical percentage of 35-40% in pre-sales of tickets for the weekend altogether. In terms of advance numbers, Avengers: Endgame has collected Rs 65-70 crores nett prior to release. This is more than Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan which recorded around Rs 26 crores net pre-sales figures. Talking about the figure of Avengers: Endgame in Hindi, English, Telugu and Tamil, the movie is expected to collect an advance of around Rs 50 crores nett. 
This number of Avengers: Endgame in all languages beats Baahubali-The Conclusion as well in terms of pre-sales of tickets which was around Rs 37.50 crores nett. But, this doesn’t imply that Avengers: Endgame beat Baahubali on the opening day since these figures are based on the advance booking numbers for the weekend. Also, since Hollywood films don’t get the same number of screens as Hindi films, and thus, the film might not be able to beat Baahubali on the opening day.
