Last week, Indra Kumar’s comedy film, Total Dhamaal hit the screens as the third part of the Dhamaal Franchise. Starring Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Johnny Lever, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jackie Shroff and more, the movie’s trailer surely managed to tickle everyone’s funny bones. Set on the backdrop of the first film of Dhamaal franchise, all the stars in the film are chasing a huge amount of money.
Total Dhamaal did receive rave reviews when it released and is being touted as the family entertainer of the year. Talking about the box office collection, Total Dhamaal has managed to leave behind many films in its genre with the money it has collected in just 8 days. Total Dhamaal’s box office collection on Day 8 is inching close to a century. Till now, the film has managed to make Rs 99.30 crores and is expected to surpass Rs 100 crores today.
Total Dhamaal released last week and despite the new releases of this week including Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya, Total Dhamaal’s box office collection is all set to cross Rs 100 crores. Total Dhamaal also released many spoof videos in other regional languages like Punjabi, Marathi and Bhojpuri which surely added to the buzz of the film. The initial reviews of the audiences gave big thumbs up to the family entertainer. One of the key highlights of this film was Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit’s epic husband-wife banter. As the weekend progresses, it will be interesting to see the other milestones that Total Dhamaal crosses.
