Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s action entertainer War seems to be unstoppable at the box office. And while this Siddharth Anand directorial has crushed several records at the box office, it refuses to slow down anytime soon. In fact, continuing its dream run, War has witnessed a significant jump at the box office in its first weekend. Interestingly, with this stupendous collection, War has once again beaten Salman Khan’s Bharat at the box office. To note, prior to War, Bharat too witnessed a five-day weekend earlier this year and earned Rs. 140 crore nett. However, War managed to get a lead of Rs. 18 crore over Bharat. Looks like the intriguing chemistry between Hrithik and Tiger and their high octane action sequences have done wonders for War.

On the other hand, with another holiday (Dussehra) around the corner, War is expected to witness a massive hike in its collection again. In fact, given its popularity among the audience and the positive word of mouth it has been receiving, the movie is expected to enter the 200 crore club this week.
