Bharat starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif was the most highly anticipated film of 2019. Post Eid, the film’s collections are good as per day 2. Here’s how much Bharat collected at the box office on Day 2.
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat released on Eid 2019 and managed to break records in terms of box office collection. The film didn’t face any clash with another film, and hence, it got the sole advantage of a festival release. Based on a South Korean film, Ode to My Father, Bharat stars Salman in the titular character and Katrina as his love interest, Kumud Raina. The film goes from one era to another and Salman’s looks change with time. Salman's performamce in all five looks from different eras has been the major highlight of the film.
Talking about the box office collections of Bharat, day 1 raked in huge numbers and the film broke records to become the second highest opener of all times. On day 1, Bharat earned around Rs 41.75 crores. Coming to day 2 collections, though the non-holiday did affect the numbers, the actual collection is turning out to be good for the makers. Bharat’s box office collection on day 2 is Rs 30 crore nett. Thus, the total box office collection of Bharat after day 2 is 71.75 crore nett. 
Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is the story of a man and a nation. The film’s music has been loved and songs like Chashni, Aithey Aa, Slow Motion and Zinda are chartbusters. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sunil Grover in prominent roles. It will be interesting to see how the collections fare over the next few days which also includes the weekend and there is no major release apart from Salman and Katrina’s film. Salman also thanked his fans yesterday for giving his film one of the largest openings of all time.
