Housefull 4 Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon’s multistarrer is off to a good start
Housefull 4 released a day back and stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon along with a number of stars. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film was off to a good start at the box office on Day 1.
On the festival of Diwali, this year three films released including Made In China, Saand Ki Aankh and Housefull 4. Being of the comedy genre, Housefull 4 was being touted as an entertainer. Starring Akshay Kumar as Bala and Harry, the film is a multistarrer reincarnation comedy with a horror element in it. Along with Akshay, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Johnny Lever, Ranjeet and Chunky Pandey. While the film’s promotions were done in various ways from the train journey to reality show visits, Akshay and other stars did everything.
Yesterday, the film released and was off to a good start. As per the early estimates by Box Office India, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 raked in Rs 19 Crore on Day 1 at the box office as the collection and was off to a good start. The exact numbers might be close to Rs 20 Crore nett as the evening shows were a bit slow due to pre-Diwali celebrations. As per the report, Housefull 4 has got the highest opening among the franchise and the second highest when it comes to a comedy film releasing on Diwali.

Akshay’s comic timing is loved by fans and that will surely help the numbers to boost up over the Diwali weekend. However, the reviews by people might also affect the numbers of the film. It will be interesting to see how Housefull 4 fares compared to the other releases of this Friday. Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The trailer was liked by the fans and the Bala song became a rage on social media with everyone taking up the Bala challenge including stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, Kiara Advani and Ayushmann Khurrana.
