This Friday, Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh starrer Marjaavaan hit the screens and is off to a good start. From the makers of Satyamev Jayate, comes a tragic love story packed with action in the form of Sidharth and Tara’s Marjaavaan. The trailer left a huge impact on viewers and the film is being touted as an action packed film.
Coming to the box office collection of Day 1 of Marjaavaan, Sidharth and Tara starrer is off to a good start. The early collection estimates show that the film raked in Rs 6.50 to 7 Crore nett at the box office. The film did well at mass centres like Maharashtra, Gujarat, CP Berar, Nizam, UP and Bihar. However, the collection in metropolitan cities remained a little come in comparison. When it comes to the theme of the film, it is directed at mass audiences and has a massy vibe to it. The box office collection is expected to increase on Saturday and the benefit of the weekend might kick in.

Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, Marjaavaan stars Sidharth as a goon named Raghu who falls in love with Zoya. Then comes a villain in their life in the form of Riteish Deshmukh and ends up turning their happy love story into a tragic one. The songs are being loved by all and it includes tracks like Tum Hi Aana, Ek Toh Kum Zindagani, Haiya Ho and others. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Marjaavaan brings back Ek Villain stars Sidharth and Riteish in one frame. It will be interesting to see how the film performs over the weekend.
