Housefull 4 Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay Kumar’s comedy film beats Hrithik Roshan’s War; Here’s how
Housefull 4 Movie Box Office Collection: After opening to mixed reviews and a decent collection, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 has taken the box office with a storm and is giving a strong competition to Hrithik Roshan’s action drama War.
This year has been quite amazing for Akshay Kumar especially at the box office. After all his two releases of the year, Kesari and Mission Mangal have enjoyed a dream run and managed to enter the coveted Rs. 100 crore club within ten days of their release. And now, his third release of the year, Housefull 4 is also witnessing an impressive run at the ticket windows and is set to mark a hattrick of box office hits for the Gold star.
Helmed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 is a comedy entertainer which boasts an ensemble of cast including Akshay, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Pooja Hegde and Rana Daggubati in key roles. The movie had opened to mixed reviews from both audiences and critics and managed to rake in Rs. 18.5 crore on its day of release. Continuing its winning momentum, Housefull 4 has witnessed the highest Monday collections of the year. With an earning of Rs. 34.25 crore net on Monday, Housefull 4 has managed to dethrone Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War to gain the first spot. The incredible collections have taken the total earning of Housefull 4 to Rs. 85 core.
Interestingly, according to Box Office India, Housefull 4 has also marked the highest single-day collections ever for Akshay. Besides, it is also the highest collection for a comedy movie so far. And as the Farhad Samji directorial inches towards Rs. 100 crore club, it will be interesting to see what more box office records the movie will crush during its run.
To note, Housefull 4 had also witnessed a box office clash with Taapsee Pannu’s Saand Ki Aankh and Rajkummar Rao starrer Made In China. But the comedy entertainer emerged as a clear winner at the box office.
