EXCLUSIVE: Here’s when Priyanka Chopra & Kareena Kapoor Khan will shoot for Koffee with Karan
The new season of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan has been grabbing eyeballs for all the right reasons. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be gracing the couch and our sources have told us some deets. Read on.
The new season of Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan has been grabbing eyeballs for all the right reasons. The ace filmmaker, who is hosting the sixth season of KWK, has managed to get fresh jodis on the couch, making the show all the more interesting. While the opening episode saw Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, in the following episode it was Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. Post that Aamir Khan made a solo appearance. Katrina Kaif and Varun Dhawan also came together and graced the couch in the new season. Last week, Saif Ali Khan appeared on the show with his daughter Sara Ali Khan, followed by Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Besides them, KJo has already shot with Abhishek Bachchan-Shweta Bachchan, Ajay Devgn-Kajol, Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pedneker, and Sidharth Malhotra and Aditya Roy Kapur. Karan also managed to get cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul on the show.
Apart from these jodis, if there is one pair that has excited us and who will be gracing the Koffee couch this season is that of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra. The actresses, who were once thick friends, went through their share of problems. The two have always cold-shouldered each other. Hence, it was surprising to see them come together for the show. But, yes it is indeed happening.
Piggy Chops and Bebo would be shooting for their episode of Koffee with Karan in December. A source in the know confirmed with us and revealed, “Priyanka is currently busy with her wedding prep. She was first going to shoot with Kareena for KWK after her wedding, on December 6. But now, it has got postponed to the second week of December. The final date hasn’t been locked yet, but it is sometime around 14-15th December.”
Adds another source, “Earlier Karan had to wrap up all the shoots before the first week of December. But now he has some more time in hand and things have to wrapped before December 20. Also, Priyanka is too occupied with her wedding so it was difficult for her to take out time for the shoot. So she requested Karan to push it by a week. Also, Bebo is available for the said date too so the trio together has finalized for the second week of December.”
Well, now that’s some exciting news indeed. We are looking forward to PeeCee and Bebo’s KWK banter. How about you?!
